See upper and middle falls in Stone Mountain State Park on this moderate out-and-back hike. This trail features much of the flora and geologic features unique to this region. Be sure to bring comfortable outdoor attire and especially water and sunscreen as needed. Weather contingency for this hike will be Widows's Creek Falls (also in Stone Mtn State Park).

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are welcome in Stone Mountain State Park but MUST BE LEASHED at all times and stay on designated trails.

What is parking like in the Park?

There is plenty of parking at the Lower and Upper lots in Stone Mountain State Park HOWEVER they can fill up fast on weekend days. Carpooling when possible is never a bad idea.

What kind of 'attire' should I bring?

It starts with comfortable, sturdy footwear. Closed-toed highly encouraged. The weather will be warm and likely very humid, so the lighter more breathable clothing you have, the better. Afternoon thunderstorms are not at all uncommon, so a light day pack with a rain jacket would be smart!
