This 8th-grade graduation tradition was started in 2021 and is in its 3rd year! Following the 8th grade mass and graduation, students' parents and family head to the Marlay. Students hang out in their reserved private space behind the building. (2 parent chaperones switch out every 30 minutes. Look out for the signup genius) It will be decorated to the nines, with music, games, a photo booth, and unlimited food and beverages. Parents hang out in the reserved space under the white tent and will receive an appetizer buffet and beverages (adult beverages included).

What does the $25 per person fee include?

It includes private event space for parents and students, unlimited food and beverages for kids, and an appetizer buffet and beverages (including adult beverages) for parents and family members.

I have family members in town. Can they attend too?

Yes! The cost is $25 per person. We just need to know the final count 5 days in advance.

My child can attend, but we have other plans. Is that OK?

Yes! Just RSVP for your child and make sure he or she has secured a ride home?

Will the kids be chaperoned?

Yes! 2 parents will be in the student event space at all times.

I remember paying a graduation fee. Why do I have to pay more?

The graduation fee covers many costs associated with graduation, including invitations, t-shirts, a field trip to Tallula Falls, breakfast, decorations, event space, a photo booth, and some of the food and beverages. The cost of this event makes up for the difference.
