Welcome to GOTHAM PARK GARDEN CLEAN UP!

NOTE: Volunteers on May 4th will help with set-up for our Community Block Party 12-5 pm that day! If you'd like to volunteer during that event, please sign up HERE!

Join us Saturday mornings to give back with Gotham Park underneath the Brooklyn Bridge in Manhattan. Let's roll up our sleeves to connect with community and each other. We'll use fun trash pickers to pick up MOOP (Matter Out Of Place), tend to our pollinator-friendly gardens, and sometimes plant new plants! No experience necessary.

Prior registration is required. See you Saturday 10am - 12pm!

Frequently asked questions

What if I've never gardened before?

No experience is necessary! We'll be there to let you know what needs to be done, and why!

What should I wear/bring?

Please wear sunscreen, closed-toed shoes and comfy clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and bring a filled reusable water bottle. We'll supply gardening gloves and equipment!

What if it rains?

We'll be watching the forecast and will email all participants who sign up if we need to reschedule or cancel for rain.

Will you do this again?

Yes! We'll be meeting every Saturday morning 10-12, as well as other times throughout the year. Please check the box to sign up for our email list and we'll let you know when we have other community volunteer events!
