Stewardship Party: Red Fox Ravine and Ecological Restoration Project intro

Building off the community energy and connection with the land sparked by our Earth Day Celebration at Red Fox Ravine, we will get to know some of the plants growing between the parking lot and quarry and do some pulling and planting to help shift the balance toward greater native diversity while beautifying this entrance area to the preserve. We’ll also talk about the ecological restoration project as a whole at Red Fox Ravine this year, including ways you can get more deeply involved and benefit from Stewardship Crew perks like learning from from the KLT staff land stewardship team and Hudsonia Ltd, who is supporting this project as consultants this year thanks to an Ecological Restoration Grant from Partners for Climate Action Hudson Valley.
