About this event

  • 4 hours

Join the Austin Stewards of the Wild and Colorado River Land Trust for a clay shoot at a gorgeous, protected property in the Hill Country about an 1 hour west of Austin. The shoot will be followed by a gourmet wild game-inspired lunch by TWA’s Kristin Parma. This event is for both beginners and those accustomed to using a shotgun.

We will meet at the ranch gate at 10 a.m., have a shotgun shooting 101/refresher course for everyone, then shoot clays for a couple of hours while expert shooters assist those who need or want advice. Around noon we will have lunch under the cypress trees. After lunch, you may continue to shoot, grab a drink and network, or depart. Everyone will depart at 2 p.m.

Please bring your own shotgun and shells. If you do not have a shotgun or access to one, there will likely be some that can be borrowed, although this is not guaranteed.

This event is for members of the Stewards of the Wild - Austin Chapter. You will need to have an active membership in order to attend.
