About this event

The Sterile Processing Technician program is designed to give entry-level healthcare workers the experience, knowledge, and skills necessary to become certified as a Central Service Processing Technician, also known as a Sterile Processing Technician. CSPT's are responsible for decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, packaging and sterilizing reusable surgical instruments or devices in a healthcare facility. This program will consist of classroom hours and clinical hours. Following completion of this program, individuals will have the knowledge required to sit for the Certification Board of Sterile Processing & Distribution Exam.

This program is eligible for Michigan Works! funding.

The Sterile Processing Technician Information Session is a great way to find out more information about the program. It will be conducted virtually using Zoom. The Zoom link will be emailed to you about 2 hours before the session begins.
