Your work is challenging- come take care of yourself! Connect with other childcare and early learning providers from across Spokane County for a free STEP (Stress & Trauma Education Program) training held at the Empire Health Foundation while earning 6 hours of stars credits (see below for details)*. STEP provides 12 proven tools for reducing stress and addressing trauma. STEP is engaging, fun, and evidence based. Lunch will be provided. Through discussions, activities, and short presentations you'll gain life-changing tools for yourself, your team, and to share with families you serve. Space is limited.

What to expect:

  1. You'll be seated at round tables where you'll meet other individuals working in or around the childcare and the early learning field.
  2. As is comfortable for you, you'll engage in activities and discussions, watch short videos, and listen to stories from presenters as you gain 12 evidence based tools for reducing stress and addressing trauma.
  3. You'll take regular breaks.
  4. Lunch will be provided.
  5. You'll receive a special gift and take home items.
