Welcome to Step Back in Time: Ultimate 80s Step down/Stroll off!

Get ready to transport yourself back to the 80s at this epic event happening on Fri May 16 2025 at 6:30 PM in the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown-Marriott Ballroom.

Join us for a night filled with old school dancing and stepping/strolling as teams compete for cash prizes for the graduate and undergraduate categories!

1st Place: $500

2nd Place: $250

3rd Place: $125

Inviting all youth groups, undergraduate, and graduate members of the D9 to participate in competition while performing to 80s music. If you think you can step up to the challenge, register your team by clicking the link below to fill out the registration form and download the competition guidelines. There is no registration fee for teams! Deadline to register your team is Friday, May 2nd.

Stepping/Strolling is not your thing? Break out your neon leg warmers, shoulder pads, and hairspray because the step down is not the only competition that night. Prize will be awarded for best dressed in 80s attire!


Don’t miss out on this chance to relive the 80s in all its glory. DJ Phressure will be on the 1's and 2's. Grab your friends, dust off your dance moves, and get ready to have a totally awesome time at the Ultimate 80s Step down/Stroll off!
