WakeEd Partnership is an independent, nonprofit organization committed to supporting staff and students in the Wake County Public School System. Through business and community partnerships, we are connecting employers with educators to provide professional development, grant funding, and resources needed to prepare today’s students for tomorrow’s jobs. WakeEd also advocates for educators at the state and national level in support of evidenced-based best practices and policies that support effective teaching. Great things are happening for students in the Wake County Public School System.In 2021, WakeEd Partnership's <a href="https://wakeed.org/programs/summerstem" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">SummerSTEM</a> program empowered more than 100 K-12 teachers to bring real-world lessons to the classroom through virtual immersions with leading STEM organizations in the Triangle.Meet some of the inspired educators and dedicated business partners who are going above and beyond for Wake County students on Monday, May 2nd at STEMposium 2022, presented by Wolfspeed!
