When should I arrive at the venue?

Please plan to arrive between 8:30 and 9:00 AM for registration. The event will begin promptly at 9:00 AM.

How will I find the venue?

STEMCon 2023 will take place at the BCIT Tech Collider, on the second floor of BCIT's downtown campus on Seymour Street. We will have signage in the building directing you to the correct areas.

What do I need to bring to the event?

Accepted Answer

Tickets are by donation, so please bring some cash for donation by door. You will need a laptop, charger, a notebook, and a pencil case. Please also bring a water bottle and snacks if you feel like you may need them!

How accessible is the venue?

There are elevators in the building to help all attendees access the atrium and workshop classrooms.

What should I wear?

There is no dress code for attendees.

Which workshop stream should I pick?

Accepted Answer

The event features three streams; personal health, community health, and environmental health. Please order them based on your preferences. Note that you may not receive your first choice, but we will work to make sure you are placed into either your first or second.
