Lilia LaGesse 
Bio: is an award-winning creative strategist and designer currently working in the advocacy and higher education sectors. Spanning print, digital, and video mediums, her design projects range from data visualizations to art directing national public information campaigns. With a background in fine arts and communication, Lilia is passionate about making the world’s knowledge more easily accessible and understandable through bold, exciting design that not only educates but inspires.
 Kristian Bouw
CEO & Founder at NotionTheory
Bio: "Kristian Bouw is a serial entrepreneur and the founder of NotionTheory, an award winning VR / AR product agency located in Washington, D.C. As a leading advocate of augmented and virtual reality, Kristian brought high end VR to the general public through the launch of the first virtual reality arcade on the east coast. Kristian’s passion lies in human computer interfaces, where he has created custom augmented and virtual reality content for clients such as Johns Hopkins Hospitals and the Edison Electric Institute. Outside of work, he regularly hosts events to educate growing local businesses and communities about the applications of new technologies and speaks around the US at institutions including MIT and Harvard covering emerging technologies." 
Daphne Puerto 
UX Designer 
Bio: Daphne Puerto is a human-centered designer focused on applying design thinking to innovate around the most difficult social problems. As a user experience designer at Excella Consulting, she practices design thinking on myUSCIS to give customers a voice in improving the immigration experience. Daphne is an active member of the design community, a Co-Chair of the UXPA 2018 International Conference, and on the leadership team of the OpenIDEO DC Chapter.
