<h3>Join us for this 10-week course focused on maker projects for different STEM and art concepts. Class begins January 5, 2026.</h3>-----------------------Dates: January 5, January 12, January 26, February 2, February 9, February 23, March 2, March 9, March 23, March 30Time: 1:30 - 3:30 PMMinimum Age: 6Maximum Age: 10Prerequisites: Basic motor skills (using scissors, painting, assembling). Beginner math (addition and subtraction )Summary: This course will explore math, engineering, science, art and robotics concepts through the creation of fun maker project. See the agenda below for a week-by-week guide of what your student(s) will do!

Agenda

This week we'll be learning about the engineering design process by making paper towers!

January 5, 2026

This week we will continue learning about engineering by creating chain-reaction projects and catapults. 

January 12, 2026

This week we will learn math concepts through the adventure games and tangrams. 

January 26, 2026

This week we will continue learning about math concepts through tessellations. 

February 2, 2026

This week we will be learning about capillary action through creating slime. 

February 9, 2026

This week we will be learning about chemistry and density through creating lava lamps. 

February 23, 2026

This week we will learn about art concepts through creating a scratch board and kaleidoscopes. 

March 2, 2026

This week we will learn about music by creating a pipe flute, percussion instruments, and wind chimes. 

March 9, 2026

This week we will begin learning about robotics and coding through Scratch, Beebots and Bristle Bots. 

March 23, 2026

This week we will continue learning about robotics and coding through bristle and edison bots. 

March 30, 2026
