Saturday, May 18th is Armed Forces Day - Help us celebrate!
12:30 Patriotic Pet Parade on Saturday May 18th (rain date May 19th). Dress up your well-behaved and leashed pet in red, white and blue. Strollers or wagons are encouraged for smaller pets who might have trouble walking the grass "parade route" though the street fair to the stage/judging area near the Museum building. Please check in from Noon - 12:25 to receive your pet's number for judging, parade starts at 12:30 from the check in area near the entrance at the Burlington Mercer Chamber of Commerce's booth/the Information Booth. Trophy awarded for First Place best-dressed pet (there may be prizes for 2nd & 3rd place too). Don't forget to bring water and poop bags for your furry friends. Trophy presentation at approximately 1:15 pm on the stage. Costumes OK for pet owners too.
2:00 Cornhole Tournament on Saturday May 18th (rain date May 19th). Play in a fun 2-person team cornhole tournament. Creative team shirts and team names encouraged -- remember that this is a family-friendly event. Limited to 16 teams. Winners progress to championship; consolation games for losers. Trophy for first place winning team and bragging rights for the next year (there may be prizes for 2nd & 3rd place too). Bring your own 4x2 cornhole boards and bags and get 1/2 off the team registration fee! Check in before 2 pm near the entrance at the Burlington Mercer Chamber of Commerce's booth/the Information Booth. Trophy presentation at about 4:45 pm on stage near Museum. Tournament will be played in a grassy area in the back corner of event grounds, you are welcome to bring lawn chairs and a cheering section.

About the Steet Mill Street Fair - NEW location on the historic grounds of the Roebling Museum in Roebling, Florence Township NJ. Since 1977, always held on the 3rd weekend in May and organized by the Burlington Mercer Chamber of Commerce. It's the annual spring tradition of shopping, dining & entertainment you’ve known and loved for the past 45 years! Free parking and free admission. Fun for all ages; handicap and stroller accessible.
On the site of the famous John A. Roebling Steel Mill, next to the NJ Transit Roebling Train Station (which has free or reduced weekend fares for seniors, children and families). Take the train, it's easy, fun and convenient! Coincides with Armed Forces Day, so we have a special commemoration planned.
