Giving Naam, in partnership with Pasadena New Thought Center, is offering its second free workshop to support those affected by the Eaton fire and beyond with breath, movement, and sound meditation to restore your physical body, soothe your spirit, and calm your mind.

What to Expect:

This class is not a typical physical asana/postures based yoga practice. It is more of an experience of simple, practical, yogic and spiritual techniques for mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.

Participants should come prepared to sit, stand, and lay down for a combination of breathwork, gentle movement, self-generated sound vibration (mantra), mudra therapy (hand postures), guided meditation, and rest.

The practice will be accessible to all regardless of prior yoga experience, shape, size, age, race, sexual identity or preference, or physical ability level. Everything can be easily modified, and your teacher, Chris Merrill will help you do so as needed.

Please wear comfortable layers to accommodate any change in body temperature, and may bring a yoga mat (or receive one from us), cushion and/or blanket, and refillable bottle of water. Folding chairs will also be provided.

About Parking: The PNTC parking lot includes 30 parking spaces, offered first come first served. Carpooling is recommended. If the lot is full, parking is also available on the street!

DO YOU NEED A YOGA MAT? Giving Naam was gifted Manduka Yoga mats to donate to those who lost their mat in the Eaton fire. We have 13 more to donate, which will be given to workshop attendees on a first come first served basis until they run out.

About the Naam Practices:

Naam breathwork, movement, and meditation practices align the body, mind, and nervous system for optimal health. It encourages a higher form of mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual self-awareness and personal development. This is a practice that serves anyone who wants to feel more vitality, improve their organ health, stimulate the brain, regulate their nervous system, and open the heart.

Naam classes combine the ancient spiritual wisdom of eastern yoga and meditation with western science. All are welcome!
