About our speakers

Kimberly Stuart is a payroll tax specialist with the Employment Development Department, Tax Branch. The Department is responsible for California programs involving unemployment insurance, disability insurance, payroll tax collection, and job training/workforce services. The Branch administers the collection, accounting, and auditing functions of the state’s payroll tax program. It is the Division’s mission, through strategic and collaborative efforts with their stakeholders, to provide education, assistance, and tax enforcement to promote fair competition, safeguard workers’ rights, and maximize voluntary compliance. Kimberly Stuart is member of a team of proud professionals who actively conduct outreach to the employer community; providing information on employer resources, reporting requirements, rights and responsibilities.
