About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

The craft-brewing business is a fan favorite among both Rhode Island residents and tourists. Its popularity has brewers wanting to expand their operations. But state lawmakers aren't on the same page.

Ian Donnis, political reporter for Rhode Island PBS and The Public's Radio, hosts a panel with Matt Gray, co-owner of Ragged Island Brewing; Nick Fede Jr., liquor store owner and head of the Rhode Island Liquor Operators Collaborative; and Rep. Carol Hagan McEntree, chair of the Rhode Island House Small Business Committee, to explore the future of craft beer in the Ocean State.

The event will feature a screening of the Rhode Island PBS Weekly segment, Restricting the Brew, and conclude with an audience Q&A.

Admission is free and all are welcome. Come grab a pint and join the conversation!
