The Startup World Cup is a global competition that seeks to support innovative startups worldwide. The program collaborates with prestigious competitions of more than 40 countries each year.
The first edition took place in 2017, organized by Pegasus Tech Ventures, a Silicon Valley based multinational venture capital firm. Startup World Cup brings together startups from different industries to compete for investment awards of up to $1,000,000.
The event consists of regional competitions held in different parts of the world. Startups pitch their innovative ideas and business models to a panel of judges. The winners of each regional competition are then qualified to the global finals where they compete for a grand prize which usually includes a significant investment.
The Startup World Cup Vietnam 2024 will be held in Ho Chi Minh City (July), to find out a champion who continues to participate in the international competition in October 2024.
