Stephanie Blackman
SVP and General Counsel at Guthy-Renker LLC
Stephanie Blackman graduated from law school over 25 years ago and worked seven years in private practive, developing her litigation and transactional skills, before going the corporate counsel route and becoming an "in-house" lawyer at a small "mom and pop" operation called Guthy-Renker.  Over the ensuing 22 years, the company has grown into the world's largest international direct marketing juggernaut, distributing products to 68 countries. Over the course of her 22 years with the company, Blackman has successfully managed the various legal challenges that face an exponentially growing organization.

John Keh
Partner, LA Operations Manager at Caviar
After graduating from University of California, Berkeley, John Keh joined the US Air Force, where he honed his skills in operational planning. He was a geospatial intelligence analyst that planned and supported operations for US Joint forces in Korea and the Middle East. After finishing his enlistment, he joined Caviar as a Partner to launch both the New York and Los Angeles operations and logistics programs. He also headed West Coast operations and helped transition the operations team through an acquisition. Keh has helped grow a start up from early stages through IPO.

Emanuel Pleitez
Active Principal Investor at Sunstone Partners
Emanuel Pleitez is an investor at Sunstone Partners, a technology investment firm. Prior to Sunstone Partners, he served as a Commissioner for the Los Angeles Fire and Police Pensions and Head of Strategy and Business Development for Qlovi, an education technology startup. Before joining Qlovi, Emanuel was the Chief Strategy Officer for Spokeo. Emanuel's private sector experience also includes being a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company and a Financial Analyst at Goldman Sachs. In addition, Emanuel is currently a soldier in the U.S. Army Reserve and the Chairman of the Hispanic Heritage Foundation.  A Los Angeles native, he holds a B.A. from Stanford University.

Eugene Cho
Founder & CEO at Echo Laboratories, Inc.
As an industry thought leader, Eugene is highly experienced with developing and selling capital imaging equipment to multiple markets including biotech, pharma, and research institutions. Founded in 2014, Echo Laboratories is a disruptive startup that designs and develops innovative microscopes for today's life science professionals. Their product has won numerous awards, has been featured on NY Times, Fox Films, and NBC, and is currently being used at leading institutions worldwide. As CEO/Founder of Echo Laboratories, Eugene has developed a modern approach to leading Echo's fundraising, product development, and commercialization strategy.

Joanna Chen
IP Attorney at Cislo & Thomas LLP
Highly involved in the Silicon Beach scene, Joanna has worked with both start-ups as well as Fortune 500 corporations regarding their intellectual property matters at Cislo & Thomas LLP. Joanna received her B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 2011 and her J.D. from Loyola Law School with a concentration in Intellectual Property Law and a sub-concentration in Patent & Technology in 2014. Currently, Joanna also serves as the IP Chair and upcoming Board Member of the Santa Monica Bar Association.
