Startup Pitch Program: eMinute

IEEE Boston Entrepreneurs' Network (ENET)is a nonprofit, professional organization that provides information and education empowering entrepreneurs to build, launch, and commercialize startups, transforming an idea into a product or service business.Founded in 1991, ENET is where founders, from both the technology and life sciences fields, meet to learn and foster meaningful business relationships to build startups. Events have been instrumental in the formation, building, and launching of startups. The ENET Community provides a trusted, safe space for its community to share entrepreneurial stories, both successes and failures, as well as invaluable lessons learned in order to build strong, sustainable startups that are both investable and marketable.In order to better serve the community, the eMinute Startup Pitch Program (eMinute) was launched to help founders prepare and perfect their startup pitch before pitching for investment, whether friends and family, private investors, angel groups, VCs and VC groups, and institutions. eMinute is an ongoing program that provides founders an opportunity to give their startup pitch in front of a live, engaged audience and get immediate feedback from experts before the start of each ENET meeting. Founders present their startup in a 90-second "elevator pitch" style format, along with one slide.
