Startup Ecosystem Development Workshop

Startup Commons Global focuses on scaling entrepreneurship and innovation by working with local and national startup ecosystems, and multinational business vertical focused ecosystems, along with related key organizations on empowering and enabling to develop entrepreneurship, innovation and startup ecosystems with scalable entrepreneurship education and training concept, startup ecosystem development consulting and building digital infrastructure to visualize, connect and enable data flow within and between startup ecosystems around the world.Startup Commons focus on startup ecosystem needs, taking into account important public-private balance for economic development, service progress tracking, service flow management, data collection, data management, analytics and international benchmarking.

Startup Commons Global

This workshop is organized in cooperation by Startup Commons and Resolute HQ, as a side event one day before <A HREF="http://www.slush.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">SLUSH</A>. Slush brings together 15,000 attendees from 100 countries for the two-day event held in Helsinki.  
Why Build & Develop Startup Ecosystems? 
Dynamic startup ecosystems breed new startups that create 2/3 of new jobs, attract international talent and foreign direct investments. Network connectivity within and between the ecosystems is the single most important contributor to growth. 
For past decade, <A HREF="http://www.startupcommons.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Startup Commons</A> and Resolute HQ have assisted national, regional and local governments with ecosystems of <A HREF="http://www.startupcommons.org/startup-ecosystem-development.html" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">various maturity levels</A> and population in US., EU and Asia - on policy making and developing solutions, services and instruments to nurture and grow thriving startup culture and startup ecosystems in globally connected world.
Who Should Attend?
The workshop is designed for those respponsibile for national, regional or city economic development - focused on economic growth via entrepreneurship, innovation, job creation and attracting investments. In addition, the workshop provides practical knowledge and tools for all <A HREF="http://www.startupcommons.org/customers.html" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">key stakeholders</A> who actively take part in developing their local startup ecosystem, either from policy design, funding instrument or support services design, ecosystem management and coordination roles, as well as budgeting and capacity building.

Module 3: Planning ahead: Defining targets, milestones and roadmap ahead

<LI>Identifying and mapping current support services or resources the key organizations contribute for the ecosystem as a whole </LI>

<LI>Setting the milestone targets per each 6 months</LI>

In addition to workshop presentations and case studies, you will have opportunity to network with your global peers to share best practises and build cross border relationship.
