The SEC2U is an initiative to showcase the commitment of European universities to create a strong culture of entrepreneurship and innovation that is spreading in the university community.
As part of StartUp Europe Comes to Universities (SEC2U) initiative for 3 years in a row, you are invited to participate in the event hosted by TEI of Western Greece on December, 13th 2018, in Patras TEI of Western Greece,Conference Center.
During this event, entrepreneurs will meet business support and development through targeted presentations by regional authorities, social and productive systems; additionaly, TEIWEST services with entrepreneurial sense will be showcased, while participants will have time for networking and exchange of experience.

TEIWEST was created from the merger of TEI of Patras and TEI of Messolonghi in 2013, collecting a 30-year experience as part of the public Higher Education System. It gives emphasis on the training of staff in high quality applications which in combination with theoretical and applied scientific proficiency:1. Constitute the link between knowledge and application, developing the applied dimension of sciences and arts in corresponding professional fields.2. Transmit, utilize and promote contemporary technology, as well as, methods, practices and techniques in the field of applicationsIn this framework, TEIWEST combines the development of an appropriate theoretical setting for studies with a high level of laboratory and practical training, while they conduct technological research and develop technological know-how and innovations in the corresponding professional fields.TEIWESTs policy is to offer R&D services also for the business secto, implementing research and development small-scale projects upon request. It is co-organizing the nation-wide annual fair for technology transfer “Patras Innovation Quest”.
