There is no doubt that being a small tech business owner is a difficult job. As owners of tech businesses ourselves, we want to support the tech ecosystem and the next generation of business leaders.
So who are we?
We are a community of business leaders from NZ-owned IT firms who have formed NZRise as a non-profit New Zealand incorporated society. NZRise exists to represent the interests of NZ-owned digital technology businesses.
Supporting startups and small businesses is something we believe in, especially having been where you are ourselves. To grow the sector we need strong new companies coming in from a startup level, and we want to help you to be those companies.
What we are offering...
We are planning to run drop-in support sessions throughout 2018 offering free and frank advice to help you run and grow your business. We’ll listen, advise, connect and support in any way we can. These sessions will be free and are our way of giving back to the community.
Over time we hope this can develop into a supportive community where we can all help and learn from each other.  
Victoria Maclennan (NZRise co-chair and managing director of OptimalBI), and myself (founder of HunchBuzz and startup enthusiast) will both be available to answer your questions and do what we can to help.
