THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE PARKS & PATHWAYSThe Trails and Open Space Coalition is a 501c3 nonprofit created in 1987. We are committed to preserving open spaces and parks, as well as creating a network of trails, bikeways, and greenways for the Pikes Peak Region. We have a small staff and are governed by a board of directors. As a 501c3 nonprofit organization, the Trails and Open Space Coalition (TOSC) receives NO government funds of any kind. Most of our support comes from individual contributions and people who care about our parks and trails. A smaller part of our revenue comes from grants and fundraising events.

Join us as we run, walk and bike through Garden of the Gods AT NIGHT after the park closes!

Garden of the Gods Park

Decorate yourself, your bike or your stroller in festive lights and get ready to experience the Garden in a whole new way. The first 500 people to sign up are guaranteed event shirts (as of 8/6/2022, Shirts are sold out!). -Before the fun starts, visit the festival zone for live music! Festival Zone opens at 7:30pm.-Run/Walk - Start at 8:30pm. Run/Walk the Juniper Loop at night after the park closes! -Bike Ride - Starts at 10:30pm. Cyclists can do as many laps of the Juniper loop within 2 hours. This is not a race...so slow down and experience the Garden in a whole new way!-Combo Club - Feeling ambitious? Join the walkers/runners at 8:30pm AND the bikers at 10:30pm. This exclusive club will be limited to 50 participants. -The 5k route starts on Juniper Way, in front of the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center, and follows the road around the central Garden of the Gods. Along the way, there will be two amazing rest stops to visit. The first will feature the Colorado Cycling Club that always puts on an amazing experience. At the second rest stop, Jack Quinn&#x27;s will be taking care of everyone with snacks and entertainment. -Finish the night with celebratory pancakes, cooked and served by area Boy Scouts, in the parking lot of the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center. -Last day to register and select an early packet pickup site is August 4th by 11:59pm. Any registrations afterward will have to be picked up at the event. - Want to you use a Pike Ride Bike at Starlight? Best decorated runner/walker and best decorated bike will win a prize from Ted&#x27;s Bicycle Shop! 8:00pm - Contest for best decorated runner/walker. 10:00pm - Contest for best decorated bike. The contest and judging will take place near the lower entrance at the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center.-Safety Information: Every runner/walker needs a flashlight or light on their person. Every bike rider needs a helmet and light on their bike. -Parking: The first dirt parking lot, known as the overflow parking lot or Rock Ledge Ranch lot, is the event parking. Please arrive early to beat the rush! When possible, please carpool. -North 30th Street is closed from Fontenero to the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center.
