PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT WILL BE CAPPED AT 32 PLAYERS. CONSIDER EVENTBRITE PREREGISTRATION TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT.

•In-Person Registration: 11:00am-12:00pm

•Due at Registration: $20.00 entry fee and a fully completed deck list registration sheet (you can print your own here and complete it before coming or fill one out in-store, making sure to give yourself enough time to complete it)

•Format: Premier Constructed rules (1 leader, 1 base, 50 card minimum deck, 10 card maximum sideboard)

•Tournament: Swiss followed by top cut Single Elimination.

Swiss Rounds

We will run a number of Swiss rounds based on attendance (4-8 players = 3 rounds, 9-16 players = 4 rounds, 17-32 players = 5 rounds), which will be played as 55 minute timed, best-of-three game matches. Matches can end in a draw. Players may decide to intentionally draw (ID). The end of match procedure will be as follows:

  • (A) If players are between games, skip to (E).
  • (B) If players are midgame, play will continue until the end of the next action phase. If a player wins before that point, skip to (E). If not, compare the damage on both bases. If they are equal, skip to (C). If not, the player with less damage on their base is declared the winner of that game, then skip to (E).
  • (C) Compare the number of units both players control. If they are equal, skip to (D). If not, the player with more units is declared the winner of that game, then skip to (E).
  • (D) The player with the initiative is declared the winner of that game. Proceed to (E).
  • (E) The player with more game wins is declared the winner of the match. If both players are tied for game wins, the match is declared a draw.

Single Elimination Rounds

After Swiss, we will top cut to a number of players based on attendance (4-8 players = Top 2, 9-16 players = Top 4, 17-32 players = Top 8). A Single Elimination bracket will be created and players will be seeded according to their final standing after Swiss, with the highest seed playing the lowest seed and so on. The player with the higher seed automatically gets to decide which player starts with the initiative in the first game of their match. Single Elimination matches will be untimed and can't end in a draw, but players may opt for a store credit prize split.

•Participation Items & Prizes: Each player will receive a Takedown promo card. The top 8 players will each receive a number of Mace Windu promo cards based on their final standing as follows:

  • 5th-8th Place: A top 8 Mace Windu promo
  • 3rd/4th Place: A top 4 and a top 8 Mace Windu promo
  • 2nd Place: A finalist, a top 4, and a top 8 Mace Windu promo
  • 1st Place: The Champion, a finalist, a top 4, and a top 8 Mace Windu promo

Top Cut players will also be awarded promo material (an acrylic initiative token and a mini card box featuring Luke Skywalker) and a store credit prize based on attendance and their final standing after top cut has played out as follows:

Top Cut = 2 players

  • 2nd Place: $25.00 store credit

Top Cut = 4 players

•Other Notes: We will NOT be using the rules for end of match procedure and top cut determination (including the rules for Uneven Cut) outlined in the Star Wars Unlimited Tournament Regulations v1.0. We will also NOT be enforcing the rules prohibiting sleeves and playmats with artwork that aren't officially licensed Star Wars Unlimited products, so long as they are appropriate for store play and don't contain any obscene material or profanity (this extends to clothing as well).
