Taking place a couple months after a new set releases, Store Showdowns are casual tournaments that award prizes for both participation and placement. This is the most competitive that Casual Play gets, but the focus is still on having fun and learning the game, making this phase the perfect opportunity for someone to dip their toe into the tournament scene!
Time: Registration - 12:00PM / Round 1 Start - 12:30PM
Format: Premier - Best of 3 - Since this is a casual tier event decklists are not required
Event will be up to 5 rounds of play based on overall number of participants. There will not be a top cut and we will take placings and distribute prizing based on overall standings after the rounds are completed.

Prizes: All participants will receive a copy of the seasons alt art participation card. Top 8 will receive a number of copies of the seasons prize card based on their final standings per the event guidelines. Players who do not make top 8 will receive one booster pack from the set the store showdown event is themed around.
