Join us for a special May the 4th Star Wars: Unlimited tournament! Entry for this tournament is $19.96 per person plus fees. Registration is accepted on Eventbrite with a max of 16 participants. Tickets go on sale Saturday, April 13 @ 9:00am.
This tournament will be held in the Premier Constructed format (1 v 1). Players must bring a deck from home that is already built with opaque sleeve backs. All sleeves must match.
The primary format of Star Wars: Unlimited, Premier is a constructed format that truly embodies the “unlimited” nature of the game by allowing you to build a deck using any of the cards in your collection. This means that you’ll be able to truly express yourself by crafting a deck that perfectly fits your preferred playstyle and strategies.
The Premier format operates under the following rules:
Your deck must consist of exactly one leader, exactly one base, and a minimum 50-card draw deck. You can also have a sideboard of up to 10 non-leader, non-base cards.
Your draw deck cannot include more than three copies of any one card.
In official Organized Play events, the winner of a Premier match is determined by best-of-three games. Each game should take an average of 20 minutes to complete.
The tournament will consist of four rounds, each 55 minutes in length. During each round, players will play a "best of 3" match, meaning the first player to win two games in the round is the winner of the round. Play will continue until only one player has an undefeated record.
Prizing
Prizing will be awarded at the end of round four. Two SWU booster packs will be included in the prize pool for each attending player and will be distributed depending on the final number of players (12 players will support prizing to 7th place)
1st place: SOR booster packs, a pair of Luke/Vader judge promos, and one of the following: GameGenic black deckpod or GameGenic SWU playmat (player’s choice)
2nd place: SOR booster packs, and one of the following (remaining from 1st place options): GameGenic black deckpod or GameGenic SWU playmat (player’s choice)
3rd place: SOR booster packs, and one of the following (remaining from 2nd place options): GameGenic black deckpod or GameGenic SWU playmat (player’s choice)
4th place: SOR booster packs, a GameGenic X-Wing soft crate deck box, two sets of GameGenic SWU aspect art sleeves (red & blue)
5th place: SOR booster packs, a Metal Earth: X-Wing model kit
6th place: SOR booster packs
7th place: SOR booster packs
