“Music is the electrical soil in which the spirit lives, thinks and invents.”
– Ludwig van Beethoven, composer and pianist
Come hear talented students, faculty, and staff in the Stanford Medicine Chorus and Orchestra perform a variety of impassioned works in their first joint concert of 2024. Founded in 2022 to promote community connection and provide relief from the rigors and isolation of medical research and practice, the Chorus and Orchestra have each performed regular concerts for the Stanford community featuring a range of classical and modern works. The Stanford Medicine Chorus is led by choir director Minseung Choi, PhD candidate, and the Stanford Medicine Orchestra is conducted by Dr. Emily Malamud. The concert will be held on Sunday, June 9, at 6:30 pm in Dinkelspiel Auditorium at Stanford University.
Ticket sales from this event help support the Orchestra and Chorus.
