We have shows every Friday and Saturday night!See the shows that got us on the list of the top 50 comedy clubs in the Nation!Food/Beverage: VAPA has not gotten permission to sell alcoholic beverages yet, but our guests are permitted to bring water bottles, covered beverage containers, and personal beverages/snacks if they so choose.Parking: Free parking off College Street between 10th &11th, CCT is in the VAPA center across College St. Enter through the Pedestrian gate. Sheriff's Dept vehicles are parked in front of our building. Safest show in town!

VAPA Center - Charlotte Comedy Theater

The Intro to Standup Comedy class will explore the process of creating and performing a standup comedy set. Class topics will include the following:•	Setting the stage•	Writing jokes•	Performance techniques•	Do’s and don’ts•	Beyond the stage•	Putting it all togetherCLASS INFO: 6-week sessions meet every Mondays from 6:30-9pm EDT. Class starts 4/`11 and ends 5/16.The total  6 week class cost is $200. About your instructor:Don Garrett lives in Charlotte, NC. Don has performed as a stand-up comedian for almost 5 years. His clean and witty comedic style is suitable for all ages. Voted Best Comedian 2020, by Queen City Nerve, Don has opened for Last Comic Standing winner Jon Reep. Don Don is a featured comic on Season 9 of DryBar Comedy.
