About this event

Throughout this Passover holiday — a time to celebrate Jewish liberation from oppression — horrific scenes of antisemitic rhetoric, harassment, glorification of terrorism and violence, and protests have been unfolding on campuses across the U.S. Locally, encampments have been launched on campuses, including MIT, Tufts, Emerson College, and Harvard here in Greater Boston. Jewish students, faculty, and campus leaders are being targeted and they are terrified. They need our support and our love.

These attacks on our community cannot go unanswered. We need to show them that we will fight for their right to attend school without fear, we need to vehemently condemn these displays of Jewish hate, and we need to show up for one another.

This Sunday, we need you to stand with Jewish students.

Join CJP’s Center for Combating Antisemitism and community partners this Sunday outside Temple Israel of Boston for a rally to support our students, reaffirm our commitment to eradicating hatred and violence toward Jews, and celebrate our Jewish pride and joy.

Speaker information forthcoming.

Now, more than ever, our community needs your support. Please invite allies and loved ones to stand with us and our students, and explore additional ways to take action to address antisemitism and support our campus communities:

  • Please report incidents to ADL New England and elevate the resources of CJP’s Communal Security Initiative with your institution

  • Educate yourself about antisemitism and how to engage in constructive dialogue with others about antisemitism. CJP is partnering with TribeTalk on a training this Sunday, April 28, 3:00–5:00 p.m. on the North Shore for high school students and their parents for the tools and skills they need to identify and respond to antisemitism as they prepare for college. Additional educational toolkits and resources are available at facejewishhate.org.

  • Elevate the blue square and #StandUpToJewishHate

  • This Passover season, as we pray for the hostages and for better times ahead, find moments for gratitude and to celebrate our community’s resilience and unity. Joy is one of our most powerful forms of resistance.

Please note: This is a peaceful gathering. We invite you to participate in a way that supports and uplifts our students amid this alarming increase in hate.
