The Stand-Up Comedy Lab is an 8-week comedy intensive designed for aspiring and developing comedians who are ready to turn funny ideas into a polished stand-up act. Whether you're stepping on stage for the first time or looking to sharpen your existing material, this hands-on workshop provides the tools, feedback, and stage experience to help you grow as a performer.

Throughout the course, students will learn the fundamentals of stand-up comedy, including joke writing, stage presence, crowd engagement, timing, and set structure. In addition to developing performance skills, participants will gain valuable insight into the business side of comedy, including producing independent shows and creating professional marketing materials.

Students are encouraged to perform regularly at open mics throughout the program, applying what they learn each week in front of live audiences. The course culminates in "Next Up: The Stand-Up Comedy Lab Graduation Showcase," where each student performs a polished five-minute set for a live audience.
