Stamp & Etching

Create a hand etched acrylic stamp and print your design.

Etching is a very old technique to make stamps, for this class, we will make the most simple one: engraving acrylic sheets. Each student will make their own design and make a stamp with it. We encourage you to bring different ideas for what you wish to make. This technique allows for several stamps, so you will be able to make your own series if you wish to. Once done, you can take your artwork home and continue to make them. The guidance provided will help to give you the tools to have your own private station.

This workshop is a bit messy, so we hope you will be amenable to bring work clothes, an apron or gloves, whichever you prefer. The event will be open for several hours, so you will have time to do your design, have snacks and enjoy the experience with us.
