9:30 AM - 10:30 AM

Pick Your Pattern and Glass

We have multiple patterns to choose from, Beginner to Advanced. Instructor will assist you in making sure you get a good pattern pr your experience. Glass is provided however the selection is limited...

10:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Apply Pattern and Cut Glass

You will be assigned your own private workstation equipped with all tools and supplies needed. We will teach you how to score glass

12:00 PM - 12:30 AM (+1 day)

lunch/Break

Multiple places available or your welcome to bring your lunch.

12:30 PM - 2:30 PM

Cut and Grind Glass

2:30 PM - 3:30 PM

Apply Copper Foil Method

1/4 Copper back , copper foil tape is provided as well as instruction and tools needed

3:30 PM - 4:00 PM

Solder

We will be teaching you to solder using 60/40 solder. This project uses a lot of solder and that is included in the class.

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Assemble, Clean, Patina if time allows

We will teach you how to use a jig ( jigs are available for sale after class should you want to take the one you use home) If you not complete your project, you will need to come in during a Maker's ...

NOTICE: We have student glass that is limited in color and size, it comes with the class. Should you want to choose gallery glass, all students have a 20% discount. Sheet glass ranges $10 to $50 a sheet (12x12) it take 1 to 2 sheets of glass depending on your color and sheet size. ( outside glass is not allowed) Bevels are also available and 20% off if desired. You do not need to bring anything, everything is provided.

Please wear close toed shoes, drinks are welcome with covered lid. snacks are welcomed. Agitsi has a water machine that has cold/hot water and a K-Cup coffee maker.

We usualy will take a break for lunch around noon. There are many places to eat along RT66 such as Arnolds, Tamale Boys, Big Daddy's BBQ, Ollie's Cafe and More. Your welcome to bring your lunch or snacks as well.

 Stained Glass Classes with Agitsi

At Agitsi Stained Glass, llc you will learn the art of stained glass in a beginner friendly atmosphere. Our unique glass studio gives you an individual creation station that has all tools and equipment you will need to learn. Here's what you will learn.

  1. The Glass itself. Choose your glass for your project. learn the different types of glass and texture of how stained-glass sheets are made.
  2. Pattern Basics. How to trace a pattern onto glass. The importance of lead or foil sheers.
  3. Glass score/cutting. Learn how to use a glass cutter and tools to start your masterpiece.
  4. The Grinder. Every station is equipped with a glass grinder. Find out how and why it is used.
  5. Copper Foil or Lead method? Learn how to choose, why and skilled ways to apply these methods to stained glass.
  6. Soldering. If you can use a glue gun, you can solder. We will teach you.
  7. Classes are set up to be beginner friendly and fun. We have a lot to teach but you will be surprised how fast the time flies when you're having fun. Make and Take classes are created to allow enough time for you to complete your project and take it home with you.
