Field Guide: JIM HOWE
Through a partnership with Audubon Everglades and the South Florida Water Management District we are offering an escorted birding trip to Stormwater Treatment Area 1E located off Flying Cow Road. Visitors will have a great opportunity to experience Florida's native wildlife and summer birds in the midst of this 6,562-acre Stormwater treatment area. This is a Car tour that stops frequently for field views of sightings.

To reduce the number of vehicles on the berm, carpooling will be aranged at the event site.
Registration: is required through Audubon Everglades.
- Please RSVP your vehicle full of attendees as one 1 ticket. Example: Mary Young & Scott Zucker are riding together, register Scott as driver, Mary as the passenger
- Every participant needs to print and sign (including your address) the South Florida Water Management Liability Release. Please bring it with you to the trip, this is mandatory to attend.
- There will be a shared eBird list.
Please make every effort to be on time. Allow for traffic and GPS misdirection's. Once the gates are closed and locked, we cannot return to open them.
Radios will be provided for communication.

This is a Stormwater Treatment Area that has Alligators, Fire Ants and other Critters. So be careful and watch your step when exiting the car.
