Come out Friday Evening kids or adults and decorate some St. Patty’s Day cookies. Shapes and sizes of cookies will vary, parents you can enjoy a glass of wine or gourmet coffee while you wait. :) Limited seats available so be sure and RSVP ASAP. (16 seats) We will have a guest decorator working with our little guests to show them a wet on wet valentine cookie technique to make hearts out of dots as well as tie dye. We will use all natural colors. All cookies are gluten free and will contain eggs and butter. If you need a vegan or dairy free option please send me an email so we can use a diff type of cookie / icing and technique but will be equally fun to: info@thesouthernolive.com. You or Your child will take home their 4 beautiful decorated cookies. Kim Greer, or as her family and friends know her as, The Cookie Fairy. She started on her journey of decorated sugar cookies in the fall of 2012. After decorating fifteen turkeys every night for over a week, Kim was asking herself “how could this be fun”? A week later, Kim was struck by an adorable cookie cutter portraying a red pickup truck hauling a Christmas tree, and the rest is history. After joining various online communities in the world of cookie decorating and working with friends who shared this sugary passion, it was time to take her new form of “therapy” to the next level. Since 2015, Kim has attended CookieCon events in Salt Lake City and Indianapolis with hundreds of other “Cookiers” from all over the world while learning from some of the world’s most talented instructors. Kim also regularly attends highly sought-after “cookie retreats" everywhere from Texas to New Jersey. After six years of learning from the best and developing her skills, she’s excited to share her passion and the skills it takes to create cookies that are too pretty to eat.
