Squab Networking is back on September 29th with guest speaker Tracey Barnbrook.
Our aim is to create a relaxed space for local businesses to get together, meet new people and make some useful connections. No formal pitches or complicated networking activities, just a good opportunity to have a chat with other businesses over a coffee.
What to expect
10am to 11am | Networking
We'll start with an hour of informal networking, with free tea, coffee and pastries available.
It's a chance to catch up with people you already know, introduce yourself to someone new and see what other businesses are up to locally.
11am to 12pm | Guest speaker: Tracey Barnbrook
We're delighted to welcome Tracey Barnbrook, a self-employed health and wellness coach.
Tracey helps people to feel better and function better, with a focus on improving energy, mental performance and overall health.
Her talk will look at something that can easily get forgotten when you're busy running a business: your own wellbeing.
As business owners, it's easy to put all of your energy into growth, strategy, systems and keeping everything else running. But what happens when your own energy and health start to run low?
Tracey will look at why protecting your health should be part of your business strategy rather than an afterthought, and what "healing from within" really means when you don't have time to be ill.
There will also be free blood pressure checks available on the day.
12pm to 12.30pm | More networking
We'll finish with another 30 minutes to carry on the conversations, make a few more connections and enjoy one last coffee before we wrap up.
Who can attend?
Squab Networking is open to local business owners and professionals.
As this is the first event in the relaunch, Squab tenants will be given the opportunity to book first, before any remaining places are opened up to local businesses.
There are just 30 places available, and attendance is completely free.
If you're looking to meet more local businesses, have a chat over a coffee and spend a couple of hours away from your desk, we'd love to see you there.
