SpringFest 2024

Upasana is a Non Profit organization for the promotion and preservation of Odissi. Odissi is a graceful dance form orginating from the ancient temple rituals of eastern India. It brings to life sculptures and paintings and tells stories of love and devotion. Programs are run under the guidance of Ms. Mouli Pal an eminent Odissi dance artist who is a disciple of the legendary Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra. For over a decade Upasana has been offering affordable dance instructions, bringing workshops with master teachers and hosting numerous concerts to enrich audiences with the beauty and depth of this sublime dance form.

Immerse yourself in the depths of Indian culture and heritage at this vibrant Odissi dance concert creating moods of devotion, love, peace and joy performed by over fifty dancers wrapped in a rhapsody of colors.This program is supported in part by a grant from the Andover Cultural Council and Lawrence Cultural Councils , local agencies, which are supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.Indian dinner avaiable for purchase after the concert by Raagini Indian Bistro of Andover.

Doors open for seating at 5 pm. Photography and Videography during the concert is only allowed by designated photographer.Show runs from 5.30pm to 7.30 pm with no intermission.Dinner is available for purchase after concert provided by Raagini Indian Bistro.Parking is available for audience at 1 Union Street on a first come, first serve basis. Additional parking is in the Brickstone parking lot behind the Mission and has ample parking spaces.
