Spring Wellness Planning Workshop (7 Weeks)

The Colorado Mental Wellness Network is a grassroots, state-wide, and peer-based wellness education and mental health advocacy organization. Our mission is to provide opportunities for individuals with mental health conditions to improve the quality of their lives, give back their communities through meaningful roles, and change public perceptions of mental health and recovery.

Join us for a seven week wellness planning class using the nationally recognized Wellness Recovery Action Plan® (WRAP®) curriculum.
WHAT IS WRAP®? WRAP® is a personalized wellness and recovery system rooted in the principle of self determination. Individuals use key concepts and a structured plan to identify how to stay well and create action plans to respond when difficulties arise. 
WRAP® also includes a section for utilizing support when in a crisis and how informing supporters can best assist you in the situation by creating a pre-determined plan. WRAP® focuses on what individuals can do for themselves and how best to build and maintain support from others in their lives. It is designed to decrease distress, increase personal empowerment, improve the quality of one’s life and to achieve one’s goals and dreams.
This course will walk you through the steps of creating your own WRAP in a supportive enviornment. There is also a monthly wellness and recovery support group that our organization offers to individuals who want additional support and opportunities for networking with others.
This class meets Monday evenings from 6:30-8:45 p.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church beginning April 4th and ending May 16th
