<H2>Spring Swing</H2>
Grab your partner or friend, put on your best Roaring Twenties outfit, and dance the night away at the third annual Spring Swing, a community dance for everyone. Community dances have raised the spirits and enhanced social life in communities nationwide since the early American colonial days. Spend a night on the town in a best-dressed environment, enjoy some big band classics, meet some new friends, or start a new hobby.
All community members, SUU faculty, staff, and students, are invited to join Southern Utah University’s Community Education program and the SUU Jazz Ensemble for a night of spin, sway, whirl and twirl. On Saturday, Feb 29, SUU Community Education dance instructors Toni and James Sage will begin the Spring Swing with a swing dance lesson from 7–7:30 pm followed by a community dance and concert by the SUU Jazz Ensemble from 7:30–9:30 pm A foxtrot lesson will also be provided during the set break. The event takes place in the Gilbert Great Hall of the Hunter Conference Center on the campus of SUU, 351 W. University Blvd., in Cedar City. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
