Spring Speaker 2025

Welcome to Spring Speaker 2025!

Join the Ohio State Alumni Club of Phoenix as we welcome Gene Smith for our spring 2025 speaker event. Gene Smith served THE Ohio State University as senior vice president and athletics director from 2005 until his retirement in 2024. Under his leadership, Ohio State student-athletes brought home multiple Big Ten and national championships in many sports as well as remarkable academic achievements. He will provide his insights and widsom from nearly 40 years in collegiate athletics leadership.

Club president, Courtney Sowa, will provide updates on the club's activities the past year and looking ahead to the fall.

Heavy appetizers will be served. Cash bar available.
