Do you shred my documents on site?

Accepted Answer

Vital Records Control has on site shred trucks which will be at each of our events. We collect documents in phases and once our collection bin is full, we send all those documents up to be shredded. You can wait to see your documents be shredded in the truck, if you'd like.

Question 2

How do I need to package my documents?

Accepted Answer

We can only shred paper grocery bags, but boxes, plastic, and reusable bags are fine to bring. We will dump your documents for shredding and return the container to you!

I can't make it to today's event, do you offer other shredding services?

Accepted Answer

We have SEVEN different events scheduled for the spring season. Check out which date is most convenient for you at callfederal.org/shred.

Question 4

Is there parking?

Accepted Answer

All of our branches have a parking lot available. We will be set up with a tent and shred truck in the parking lot. You can park and visit our table, or you can drive through as we direct traffic--no need to get out of your car!

What is the limit to shred?

Accepted Answer

3 paper grocery bags or 2 bankers' boxes per person.
