Sharon Thomas, MSc, MSEd is a learning specialist and educational consultant in NYC. She is the director of MAIA Education Resource Center, an organization that specializes in tutoring, executive function coaching, school placement counseling and workshops.

Our Girls & EF Group teaches middle school girls practical strategies to work with their brains, not against them.

Through a mix of education, skill-building, and supported practice, girls learn how their brains work and develop tools to manage focus, initiation, and follow-through.<h2>What Your Daughter Will Learn</h2><ul><li>Brain science made simple—understanding her “busy brain”</li><li>The Pomodoro Method and other focus techniques</li><li>How to actually start tasks (not just think about starting them)</li><li>Strategies she can use immediately at school and home</li></ul><h2>What Your Daughter Will Experience</h2><ul><li>Small group support (up to 8 girls)</li><li>Supervised body doubling—working alongside others with structure</li><li>Modeling from an adult who serves as her “external brain”</li><li>A judgment-free space to practice new skills</li></ul>Spring Dates: Tuesday, April 14 - Tuesday, May 19Middle School Session 2: Grades 7 &amp; 8: 5:30–6:30pmPricing: $450 for 6 weekly sessionsSession Details: There will be six virtual sessions total to each program.PoliciesCancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your registration, please contact us immediately. Cancellations up to 7 days prior to the first session receive a 50% refund.
