About this event

  • 7 hours

Join Sky Island Alliance in the field to explore a natural spring in southern Arizona's Patagonia Mountains and survey some of nature's coolest recyclers: spring snails. As a group, we’ll decide how to answer the Spring Seeker survey questions, and everyone will get a chance to submit their own surveys and pictures. We'll meet at 7:15 a.m. at the Sanctuary at Sonoita Creek. For those who are carpooling (spots now full), we'll be leaving at 6 a.m. from Sky Island Alliance's Tucson office.

Attendance by RSVP only. Preference given to members of Friends of Sonoita Creek. For any issues, text/call Sarah: (650) 804-5413.

Our overall goal, in addition to surveying springs, is to survey spring snails. So if you're into careful, quiet observation, this field trip is for you!
