No more trying to be mindful alone.The Hive exists to develop creative, compassionate, and mindfully-engaged citizens in the Cincinnati region through small group classes and workshops. We have curated a collective of proven teachers, facilitators, and spiritual directors to help guide your learning in mindfulness, contemplation, art and action. We hope you'll try a class and like it enough to become a regular member. Your partnership helps make this nonprofit possible.(As a social enterprise, the Hive shares our story with photos of classes and events. Click here to join today.</a></p><h2>Spring Rest &amp; Restore Workshop</h2><h3>Domain: Contemplative Practice, Healing Work</h3><p>During the liminal stage of spring our bodies and ecosystems awake from winter’s slumber. As our systems undergo this transition, rest and restoration is essential. </p><p>In this workshop we will:  </p><ul><li>Learn ways to support our bodies and spirit during spring. </li><li>Practice self reflection and meditation to uncover blockages to restoration. </li><li>And collectively rest and dream for nourished futures. </li></ul><p>We will respectfully utilize indigenous knowledge, Black feminist thought, nature medicine and energy healing modalities.</p><p>Aaliyah Shivers M.A. is a Conjure practitioner and medical anthropologist. Their research background includes minority mental health and Black food systems. As a Black, queer and neurodivergent fem presenting person Aaliyah strives to create diverse, collaborative spaces for ancestral connection, self empowerment and healing from colonial and whyte dominant systems. They integrate their educational experience and spiritual practice to offer (Whole)listic care via in-person workshops and virtual spaces. </p><h3>Covid Considerations: Masks are currently optional at the Hive. Individuals may choose to wear a mask for personal protection, and as always, we ask anyone who is feeling sick or has a high temperature to not attend until they are recovered.
