Woodlawn Restoration in Van Cortlandt Park

Join us in the Northeast Woods to combat invasive species and prepare for spring planting. Meet us at Woodlawn Playground by the handball courts at 9 AM for a rewarding morning of ecological restoration.

Event Highlights:

• Date: Wednesdays 4/10, 4/17, 4/24, 5/1 and 5/8
• Time: 9 AM - 12 PM
• Meeting Location: Woodlawn Playground by the handball courts, walk to restoration site at 9:10am
• Activities: Removing invasive species like multi-flora rose, porcelain berry, and garlic mustard.
• What to Wear: Sturdy shoes, protective clothing, sunscreen, and bug spray. Bring water.
