SPRING LOVE GALA Featuring ROCKELL & ONE VO1CE by The Doan Foundation

Join us for an unforgettable evening of great food, entertainment and celebration at the Diamond Hall as we honor the student recipients of our scholarship program for the 2023-24 school years as well as the donors and sponsors who have generously contributed to their successes.

Our choice of the theme for this year’s gala, “Spring Love,” was driven by our desire to encompass the entirety of the arts and underscore its omnipresence in our lives.

Beyond being visually captivating, this theme presented us with the rewarding challenge of assembling the perfect combination of talent to captivate the hearts and ears of our cherished donors. We sought to emphasize the profound importance of paying homage to the artists of the past, those trailblazers who paved the way for the artists that today’s generation admires and turns to in their times of need.

In celebrating these artists, we aimed to rekindle the impact of their beautiful music, enabling them to once again take the spotlight and reminding both ourselves and our donors of the profound influence of musical art in shaping who we are today.

It became evident that we needed to feature the extraordinary Filipina R&B queens from the Bay Area, ONE VO1CE, and one of the reigning freestyle and dance pop queens, ROCKELL. Beyond the unexpected nature of having these two music giants share the same stage, we were driven by the belief that their collaboration would make history and truly resonate with our audience.
