Search: a Rhythm and a Reason

In this lecture series we will review small crew and short-staffed search operations and why educated aggressive fireground tactics work for low staffed companies. With help from fire ground data collected from the fire fighter rescue survey we can send search crews into structures with an understanding of using better search techniques to high probability areas with practical methods of victim removal methods resulting in better outcomes for our potential victims. If you are volunteer or career this lecture will have something for you, the the fire-ground tasks still need to be carried out no matter your fireground staffing or lack thereof with the highest priority on our potential victims.

6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Near miss event

This presentation will cover a “near miss “ incident by Ryan McMenamin , a Milwaukee Firefighter who was critical Burned at an incident on April 14, 2024.
