Do I need to have a professional camera?

Accepted Answer

It's really helpful to have a DSLR or mirrorless camera for this class but if you love taking landscape photos with your phone you're more than welcome to join the class. Most of what you learn will still apply to phone photography

Question 2

Do I need a tripod?

Accepted Answer

For Sunday's practical session it's going to be really helpful to have a tripod. If you don't have one I have a few extras that I will be bringing for folks to share (if needed)

Question 3

Other than a camera or tripod are there other things I should bring?

Accepted Answer

For Saturday it's helpful to bring your camera so you can learn about some of the features which are important to landscape photography. That said, a notebook for taking notes is also ideal for Saturday.

Question 4

Do I need to bring filters?

Accepted Answer

Bringing neutral density and/or circular polarizing filters is always a good idea when doing landscape photos. If you've got them please do bring them on Sunday. If you don't you can still create great photos.
