Welcome to the Spring into Nature 5K Trail & Fun Run event! Lace up your running shoes and get ready to hit the trails at Kirkmont Center on Sat, May 03, 2025 at 9:00 AM. Join us for a fun-filled day of running, nature, food, and community. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a casual jog, this event is perfect for all levels of experience. Come enjoy the beautiful scenery, fresh air, and camaraderie as we celebrate the arrival of spring together. Don't miss out on this opportunity to spring into action and connect with nature!
Kirkmont Center rests on 278 acres nestled among gently rolling hills and pine groves. The site boasts a natural fen, two ponds (one for nature study and one for canoeing and fishing), cliffs and natural ravines.

Located in Logan County, Ohio, directly off US Route 33, two miles east of Zanesfield on County Road 10. Driving distance from the Dayton area is about 50 minutes from I-70; from the Columbus area, about 45 minutes from I-270; and from the Akron area, about 50 minutes from I-71.
There will be parking available on a grassed lot.

The race will be run rain or shine within reason, however, the Race Director reserves the right to cancel or modify segments of the event as deemed necessary for participant safety. No refunds will be given in the event that requires delay, rescheduling, or cancellation
We love sharing Kirkmont with our furry friends. Please be aware that pets must be on leashes at all times. Please be respectful of grounds, clean up after your pets. If aggressive behavior occurs with other pets, children or people, we will ask pet and pet owner to leave the property.
At your own risk, keep in mind terrain may contain paved areas but will mostly be through the grass and un-paved trails.
There will be one hydration station on the 5K course and there will be post-race snacks and hydration near the finish line
Participatory medals will be provided to all and Prizes will awarded to the top finishers. You must be present to receive your award. Awards will not be mailed.

Rooms will be available for rent in one of our main lodges the night prior to the event for an extra fee. There will be a continental breakfast provided for an additional $10 before the race. Please contact Kirkmont Center directly at (866) 496-3214 or info@kirkmontcenter.org
Confirmation from the event host will be sent individually with addition information including parking lot location, T-shirt design, participation waiver
There will be a photographer on site taking photos and videos at the event. Media releases will be sent with participation waiver and at check-in.
