Spring into Love - A singles mixer & speed dating event

Hey RVA singles!! It's officially spring time and that means warmer weather, lots to do, and people are coming OUTSIDE! Join Singles of RVA for a fun, fresh and classy singles mixer!

This event will have a cocktail hour for singles to mix, mingle, eat and drink from 4-5pm. During this time, you will have the opportunity to get checked and settled in, grab some food from the bar, grab your first drink (on us!) and mingle freely with all the other singles.

Following our cocktail hour, we will have "Relationship Chat" - a curated Q&A with a panel of couples that have formed from the Singles of RVA community. This will be a fun way to share experiences and ask questions about dating in 2024.

Following "Relationship Chat", there will be an opportunity to participate in speed dating. We will have a classic round of speed dating for folks to have time to get to know one another one-on-one on a deeper level. The twist -- each round, you will be challenged to ask one non-surface level question to your dater. The question will be provided to you and will change each round. It will be a great way to spice up the conversations and go beyond the surface level!

Speed dating is not mandatory to attend this event. Singles may come, participate in the cocktail hour, relationship chat, and simply mingle on their own if they desire. However, participation in speed dating is reserved solely for those who register for a speed dating ticket.

Who should sign up?

Anyone 25+ who is looking to actively and purposefully date in Richmond Virginia!

Group membership is not required to attend this event.

What’s the criteria for the participants?

Males and females aged 25+ who are actively seeking heterosexual romantic relationships and connections.

Is there a cost?

$25 per person for entry and participation in the mixer only, which will include a drink ticket for one free drink at the bar.

$35 per person for entry and participation in the mixer as well as speed dating, which will include a drink ticket for one free drink at the bar.

Must present a valid photo ID.

Are spots limited?

There will be 15 spots available for females and 15 spots available for males.

If spots have filled up and you’re still interested, please join the waitlist and you will be notified if a spot opens up.

When and where is this taking place?

Main Street Steakhouse located at 1112 E Main St, Richmond, VA 23219 on Saturday, April 27th from 4-8pm.

Attendees should arrive no later than 5pm for check-in. Please understand that if you show up late, you run the risk of missing out on various components of the event!

Anything else I should know?

Tickets are nonrefundable unless the event is cancelled. No exceptions.

Additional events for other age ranges and sexual preference(s) may open up in the future depending on feedback from those who aren’t eligible for this particular speed dating event. Please join "Singles of RVA" on facebook to stay up to date on future singles events.
