Welcome to Spring into Conservation! Join us on Saturday, May 2 at the Freedom Park Interpretive Center for a fun-filled day of learning about conservation. This in-person event will feature interactive exhibits, hands-on activities for all ages, and a free raffle. Come explore ways to protect our environment and make a positive impact on the world around us. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to connect with nature and learn how you can help preserve it for future generations.

Several local conservation organizations will be present at the event and will be there to offer you insight and answer questions about our environment.

  • Many giveaways, including lots of native plant and insect stickers, save our water keychains, notepads, glasses wipes, and can coolers.
  • Living shoreline demonstration
  • Color your own pot activity - you will get native seeds to plant at home in a biodegradable pot that you first get to decorate! 🎨
